We have a long history of commitment

[vc_column_text css=””]

Organic

In 2000, we became the first Oktoberfest tent to switch to organic products. We exclusively grill organic chickens, and since 2022, organic ducks as well.

Our chickens come from the Graf Organic Poultry Farm in Steinkirchen. This family-owned business is a certified Bioland farm. We source our ducks from Eiermacher GmbH in Kremsmünster, Upper Austria. You can find out which other dishes and beverages are organic on our menu.

In the tent

Our menus are printed on recycled paper. Our printed materials and other paper products are made from certified recycled paper. We use only green electricity. We have a solar power system and operate a wastewater treatment and water heat recovery system.

It is important to us that no food goes to waste; therefore, since 2017, food that can no longer be sold has been picked up by volunteers from Foodsharing Munich and distributed to our locations. Our ready-to-cook organic vegetables have been delivered and prepared by the inclusive workplace Regenbogen Arbeit gGmbH since 2006.
