Amidst the hustle and bustle and festive atmosphere, this initiative promotes the safety and well-being of female visitors. In particular, the campaign offers a safe space where women in need can find support. This protected space is a place where affected women can retreat, breathe a sigh of relief, and seek help, whether through conversations with trained staff or interactive offers of medical and psychological support.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span data-slate-node=\"text\">Oktoberfest attracts millions of people every year who celebrate together and enjoy Bavarian culture. Nevertheless, it is unfortunately a reality that unpleasant situations can arise in large crowds. The &#8220;Safe Wiesn&#8221; initiative addresses this issue and raises awareness about how to interact with one another. It is of great importance that women feel comfortable and safe at the festival, as this is the only way to experience the joy of celebrating without worry.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span>In addition to the &#8220;Safe Oktoberfest&#8221; campaign, there is the &#8220;WiesnGentleman*&#8221; campaign, which aims to promote respectful behavior and civil courage among all festivalgoers. The idea behind it is simple: everyone can contribute to a positive and respectful atmosphere. The campaign calls for mutual support and active opposition to discriminatory or abusive behavior. A WiesnGentleman advocates for equality, respect, and harmonious coexistence so that everyone can enjoy Oktoberfest to the fullest.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span>Overall, these initiatives lay the foundation for an Oktoberfest where safety and mutual respect are paramount. Not only are they important steps toward respectful coexistence, but they also contribute to making Oktoberfest a place where joy and celebration are the focus for everyone. They look forward to having fun together. But of course, always respectfully and safely!<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s important to stand up for respect and civil courage, as well as to reject hate and incitement. Unfortunately, assaults and transgressions occur again and again.
