The rooster and duck roast AMMER, owned by the gastronomer family Schmidbauer – now in the 5th generation – has been on the Munich Oktoberfest since 1885 and can look back on a deeply rooted, long-standing tradition. As the oldest chicken roaster in the world, we have repeatedly reinvented ourselves: we lovingly combine the old and the new.

In our marquee and beer garden, we welcome our guests to neatly laid tables and spoil big and small with our famous organic chicken from the grill, our ducks, Augustiner beer from the wooden barrel and much more. In street sales, you can get the Oktoberfest treats for take-away and for quick enjoyment.
