This year, we are celebrating a special premiere at SCHLOSSCAFÉ IM PALMENHAUS:

The Sip & Share Wiesn Warm-up – an afternoon full of exchange, inspiration, and anticipation for Oktoberfest, especially for women in Munich. Together with our partners – including the AMMER Wiesnzelt – we are combining tradition with female empowerment.

Three women, three industries – and all have one thing in common: They come from sectors deeply rooted in Oktoberfest tradition and where leadership positions are still predominantly held by men. In the conversation, they provide insights into their daily work, talk about what it’s like to make decisions as a woman in a male-dominated industry, lead a team, and assert herself against entrenched structures. They share how they deal with prejudice, what it means to take responsibility, and how to dare to try something new in an environment often shaped by decades-old traditions.

Sibilla Kawala, Founder & Managing Director of Limberry.

Sibilla has built one of Germany’s most well-known traditional costume labels and knows the path from the initial idea to a successful company from her own experience – with all its ups and downs. In her keynote, she speaks openly about why starting a business has nothing to do with perfection and why courage is often the decisive factor in getting started. She shares the importance of a strong environment that supports, motivates, and catches you – especially in times when things aren’t going smoothly.
